About GM Timur Gareev

In 2004, Timur became the youngest-ever grandmaster from Asia at age 16. He was a part of the University of Texas at Brownsville's Chess Team from August 2005 to August 2006 where he helped the University obtain its first National Championship. For more details, please see GM Bio.
